I grew up a couple of miles southwest of Inman and was very involved with several organizations and extracurricular activities such as FFA, Scholar’s Bowl, National Honor Society, Basketball and Track.  I graduated in 2002 and attended Tabor College graduating in 2006 with BA in Mathematics.  I participated in Tabor’s Track and Field program for all four years competing in the 110 hurdles, 400 hurdles, 4x100 and 4x400 meter relays and long jump.  Highlights of my collegiate career are setting the school record in the 400 hurdles and qualifying for the NAIA National Track Meet in both hurdle races and the 4x400.

I completed my third year of teaching last May at Cimarron Jr/Sr High School in Cimarron Kansas.  During that time I completed the Transition to Teaching Program through Fort Hays State University and upon completion looked to move closer to home.  I am looking forward to this school year and expecting great things to happen both in and out of the classroom.
