Fish Habitats

After learning about habitats, the third graders assembled a fish habitat.  A goldfish was given to each student.  Each student created a journal that recorded observations about their fish.  Drawings and words were found in each journal.  Students who kept their fish alive got to take them home to keep after the project was finished.
